Trending today: Lindsay Lohan, Biddy Blas and Planet Zoo 2
Lindsay Lohan films a new Netflix rom-com in Toronto with her Mean Girls director, a tiny Star Wars racer named Biddy Blas becomes a fan favorite, and Planet Zoo 2 launches to mixed reviews.
Lindsay Lohan is filming Return to You, a Netflix romantic comedy directed by Mark Waters, who directed her in Freaky Friday and Mean Girls. Henry Golding co-stars. Production in Toronto began in late September and is scheduled to run through Nov. 10. Set in 2008, the film follows an attorney who accidentally receives a DVD meant for another woman's husband and follows its clues to find him. Lohan is also a producer. No premiere date has been announced; it is expected in 2027.
Biddy Blas, a small crocodile-like character in the new video game Star Wars: Galactic Racer, has become a fan favorite, with clips of his screeches such as "scrib doon" spreading on social media. Lucasfilm Games executive producer Craig Derrick posted that "the algorithm continues to properly prioritize Mister Biddy Blas," and voice actor Richard Summers-Calvert said he is "overwhelmed and overstimulated." His species, the crocin, first appeared in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Frontier Developments released Planet Zoo 2 on Oct. 13 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The sequel adds aquariums with fish, turtles and sharks, aviaries for birds, and wildlife reserves where players release animals into wild habitats. Reviews are mixed: Push Square scored it 9 out of 10, while PC Gamer gave it 60, citing fiddly micromanagement.
