SpaceX's Starship reaches orbit for the first time
SpaceX's Starship, the largest rocket ever built, reached Earth orbit for the first time on its 14th test flight, launched Monday morning from Texas. One of the upper stage's engines shut down during the climb, but flight controllers pressed on. The ship deployed 26 Starlink satellites and later came down in the Pacific Ocean; the Super Heavy booster splashed down in the Gulf of Mexico.
