Send me the Nov. 4 results at 6 AM
Free. A race is only called when AP and at least one other major outlet have called it. Then the regular 6 AM & 5 PM brief; unsubscribe anytime.
Before you vote
Our Minnesota ballot guide covers the key races, each fact checked against 2+ sources, plus how and when to vote.
How we call races
We never project winners ourselves. We report a result only after the Associated Press and at least one other major news outlet have called it, and we say plainly when a race is still too close to call. Every story lists its sources, and corrections are public on our corrections page.
While You Were Out is independent and nonpartisan; we do not endorse candidates.
