Senate passes the Protect College Sports Act, 77-22

The Senate passed the Protect College Sports Act 77-22 on Monday evening. The bill would set national rules for athlete pay, transfers and eligibility, give the NCAA limited antitrust protection and restrict conference realignment. Its future in the House is uncertain; the House does not return until after the November elections.
