Houthis claim strikes on Riyadh's airport as Turkey and Pakistan pledge troops to Saudi Arabia

Yemen's Iran-backed Houthis claimed missile and drone strikes on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, an Aramco refinery and other Saudi sites on Monday. Explosions were heard in Riyadh on Monday evening and again Tuesday, AFP reports. Saudi Arabia condemned the attacks and has not confirmed damage at the airport. At an emergency meeting in Riyadh, Turkey and Pakistan agreed to rapidly deploy forces to Saudi Arabia under a joint defense pact. The U.N. says the fighting has displaced more than 184,000 people.
