Oil slips on hopes of more Russian supply; Brent stays above $100
Oil prices fell in early trading Monday after President Trump said Russia and Ukraine agreed to halt attacks on energy facilities, following his announcement of a diesel-supply deal with Russia. Brent crude stayed above $100 a barrel as conflict in the Middle East continues, and an analyst told Reuters doubts about the ceasefire would limit the drop. U.S. stock futures edged higher.
