Trump says no strikes on Iran before the Nov. 3 midterms as oil jumps
President Trump said on Truth Social that the U.S. will not attack Iran before the November 3 midterm elections and that talks with Iran are productive, while the naval blockade stays in place. Iran's foreign minister said Tehran will formally reply to a U.S. proposal within days. Brent crude rose more than 4% after a tanker was hit off Qatar's coast.
