WHO seeks answers after a Russian lab worker's death
A worker at Russia's Irkutsk Anti-Plague Research Institute died Oct. 2 of what Russian authorities call pneumonia of unknown cause. Russia says no plague case was registered; the WHO says the cause is still unknown and has asked Russia for more information. About 200 contacts were quarantined or monitored.
