Stocks rise after the weak jobs report as rate-hike bets fade; Nvidia hits a record
U.S. stocks rose Friday after the softer-than-expected jobs report pushed Treasury yields lower and reduced expectations of another Federal Reserve rate hike. The tech-heavy Nasdaq led the major indexes, up about 1.2%, and Nvidia shares hit a record high.
